JT&T's Velcro Split Wrap PET Expandable Sleeving is braided from 10 mil polyethylene terepthalate (PET) monofilament yarns & has stitched on internal velcro sides. It is used in electronics, automotive, marine & industrial wire harnessing applicatons where frequent access is critical. The color matched velcro closure provides for easy on & off installation, as well as instant & convenient access for harness break-outs & rework of any specific section along the entire length of the run. To use just separate the velcro fasteners along the edge of the sleeving & slip the entire length of the sleeving around component the press the velcro together to secure. The unique braided construction & expandability allows quick & easy installation over large connectors & long run wire or cable. Abrasion & cut resistant; also resists UV radiation, gasoline & other engine chemicals. The sleeving cuts easily & cleanly with a hot knife & once installed, will beautify & protect any wire, hose or cable application. Available in additional formulations & colors by special order. Temperature rating from -70°C (-94°F) to 125°C (257°F).
